Actionable Tips You Can Do TODAY π
I got this DM, and it's very similar to the others I've been getting. I wanted to answer it to help you as well. Juggling life's demands, feeling overwhelmed, and yearning for balance is a challenging journey but one that unites us.
βI'm just in a state of overwhelm between job, school, and caretaking. Like you said, I could feel completely differently if you ask me in couple days, right now it just all feels really heavy. Appreciate your content, it's always a sliver of light when things seem so dark.β β₯οΈ
First, I truly appreciate you reaching out and sharing your feelings. I can only imagine how tough it must be to juggle it all. Understandably, you feel overwhelmed, and it's okay to feel that way. I see you! π
Emotions switch all the time, and I'm here to support you through those changes, whether you're on top of the world or feeling like the weight of it is pressing down. Energy-Boosting Morning Rituals: Start your day by doing something you enjoy. Put on some music you love as you get ready in the morning, use your fav scented lotion or perfume, or wear something special (I have a suggestion! My merch is known to cause excessive confidence boosting!). π I am trying to remember when I started running to the beach before sunrise, but now I created this habit that fills my cup, and I look forward to having this alone time to take care of myself first thing.
Digital Vision Boards: Create a vision board filled with images, videos, and quotes that motivate you - not just to work towards achieving your goals and aspirations - but to keep you positive! Sometimes, when we're in the thick of it, it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. π₯° If you put a reminder where you can see it - first thing in the morning, it'll help set the tone for the day, reminding you that it won't always feel so heavy.
Unconventional Self-Care: In addition to the regular forms of self-care, search out unique experiences. For instance, I host events specifically for women to make some time for themselves and connect them with a community of confidence builders. Although it might be difficult if you're not local, gather up your friends and do something together besides eating at a restaurant, such as indoor rock climbing or hiking, or cooking a meal together to create strong bonds and great memories while being healthy! Or try something solo! Have you ever gone to the movies by yourself?? π₯πΏ
Celebrate Yourself: You're surviving! Reward yourself with something healthy! Even if it's a bath π (seriously, when's the last time you took one??), going for a walk after dinner around the block, or finally picking up that book you wanted to read collecting dust. Do something healthy for your head and your heart!
